3rd Person character "disappears" and game freezes after falling down the Z axis.

Using the existing third person template.

Delete one of the walls and walk off the ground when playing the game. The character falls down for a second and then disappears and the game freezes.

It obviously goes beyond the allowed range on the Z axis. How can I extend the range of allowed travel on the Z axis (or disable this limitation altogether?).

In the world settings, kill z.
