3DsMax > Datasmith > Unreal - Material Names

I use Datasmith to import large complex scene from 3DsMax (2024) to UE 5.2. In most cases the workflow is good, except when it comes to material names. Typically i we make custom UE materials as Datasmith does not play nice with Arnold materials from the source files. However how do you get the Slot Names to populate in unreal?

In max i have have a multi-sub material and i correctly name all my slots. But in the imported asset it simply has the slot ID not the name… What am i doing wrong? I tested it with an FBX and it works correctly with the name of the Slots importing so whats different?
