3DS to UE4 [Datasmith] - Material ID´s / Slots not exported


i created a mesh and gave them two different material id´s in 3DS Max 2018. When i import the *.udatasmith file into UE4 only one material slot is showing up. Is this a known bug, or does someone have a workaround for this? Or did i something wrong?

In UE4 it will only have a material slot if you have a material assigned to that ID, if you have multiple material ID’s but no materials actually assigned to those ID’s then it won’t use them.
