I am trying to install 3ds Max Datasmith Exporter. When trying to install it it comes up with an error saying that it can not find the installation package (images attached). I tried downloading an older version but when I do this it says I have a new version installed. When I try and uninstall the version that says it is installed it comes up with the same error messages (that it can not find the installation package).

It will come with for 5.3, I have a temporary installer there if you want to give it a try
Hello. I am using 3DS Max 2023, and trying to install the Datasmith exporter for UE 4.27. When I run the .msi, it tells me there is no version of Max available. Any ideas?
3DSMax2023 support was added for Datasmith exporter compatible with UE 5.1.
You could try to install DS exporter 5.1 and see if 4.27 is able to read the udatasmith coming from the 5.1 exporter but I have doubts.
Else you need Max 2022 to use the DS exporter 4.27
