3D widget components do not remember their class when restarting the editor

Repro:

  1. Add 3D widget to actor in blueprint
  2. Assign widget class to 3D widget
  3. Save
  4. Restart editor
  5. Check 3D widget’s class

I was unable to reproduce this issue on our end. I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. What version of the engine are you using?
  2. Can you reproduce this in a clean project?
  3. If so, are there any steps that were left out of your original post?
