I have a 16 camera set up and a person on a turntable.
The background behind the person is all white.
However, I very rarely get the camera’s to show as if they are surrounding the person, only one or two may match up correctly and the remainder are either not factored in or they all stack up on top of each other.
You can see from this image that that only two photos have been recognised.
How do I get Reality Capture to think it’s the camera’s rotating and not the person?
please switch the left-most view to 1Ds. You will be able to see all the created components - it is possible that several of them were created. In order to merge all images to one component, you might need to shoot images with better overlap both horizontally and vertically. What alignment settings did you use? Can you post a screenshot?
Already you’ve taught me something! I didn’t know there were components,
Is it possible to join/merge each component together?
Here is a screenshot of my settings. How would I optmize them for people scanning, and so the images overlapped better.
My set up has 16 cameras in two rows of 8. Each camera sits between the two above it to the right and below it to the right.
