Hello, I am new to 3d scanning. I was wondering if I can scan a street from 360 images of google street view. I think the 360 images don’t work so I trimmed the image so it looks like this:

But it doesn’t work. When I align the images only 2-3 work and it looks bad. Is it because of the distortion? I am completely new to Capturing Reality so I don’t know what to do.
Hi Krota,
I would not recommend this workflow. RC works best with very simple photos undistorted form a normal camera. What you are seeing on street view is going through a lot of processes and is a long way off ideal. If you are a beginner I would recommend using just a mobile phone (no panoramas), and scanning soe everyday objects (ideally not shiny ones). Also we recommend 60% overlap, and there is a lot of distance between images on street view. To get a decent façade of a house scanned it would need a lot more then 2 or 3 images from 1 height.
