This is my grooming work for Streamoid studio.
As a 3D grooming artist, my role was to create and fine-tune visually realistic hair on 3D character model. For this project, I used Ornatrix in Maya to create hair for the two girl models that the studio shared with me.
I also exported my work to Unreal Engine 5, using the Groom Plugin and Ornatrix Alembic Hair.
The task of creating 3D grooming for this project was completed within 12 days - for 1st woman and 4 days - for 2nd woman.
Initially, the task was to create a hairstyle for the first woman, then I transferred the same hairstyle to the second woman. Typically, transferring from one character to another involves some technical nuances - hence, this too takes a certain amount of time.
