Hello,
I was hoping 3D grass material would receive some bug correction with the new preview released… Seems like a no.. I don’t have any fix for that and it’s very frustrating. The only workaround is to use the old method (scattering). The plane receiving is a simple primitive plane covering the space i need for the camera.
Running on Direct X 12, Grass Fading set to far.
Everything works in Viewport (Lumen and PT)
Tried Near clipping set to lowest value
Nothing
Here are some test
(tested without Vegetation, may be VRAM issue? nope)
(Tested Lens size, 50/35) Nothing
The only thing which seems to work is to have vegetation at least on 1/3 of the picture or working with lumen?!?
PC Spec: R5 7600x/ RTX3090 / 64Go DDR5
Drivers updated everything running fine
Also did another render with a different POV and grass even far away is rendering as it should, i really don’t understand this short distance culling
