Here is my final 3D modeling project of 2025, completed today on December 31st. It is the 'Trump-class battleship,' which caused worldwide controversy and shock upon its reveal on December 23, 2025. According to reports, the U.S. plans to construct 25 to 30 of these vessels, intended to replace the existing DDG(X) program while integrating its capabilities.
Originally, on December 22nd, I had decided to create a MiG-9 fighter. However, the very next day, December 23rd, upon hearing the news from the White House about the construction of the new Trump-class battleship, I immediately changed course and impulsively decided to model this instead.
When I first started, the shape felt a bit plain, so I was worried it might end up being a failure. However, as I entered the later stages of production, those worries completely washed away. On a separate note, modeling the laser weapon (ANSEQ-3) was a first for me, so it required a lot of manual work and was a bit tricky.
Also, this is the first model where I have applied 'Normal Textures.' As a result, the textures have much more depth compared to my previous works. However, adding the normal textures did come with the downside of a larger overall file size.
Anyway, this brings 2025 to a close. I hope you all had a wonderful end to the year. I will continue to work hard to create even better 3D models next year!
This asset includes features such as turret rotation. While it has missile hatches like the VLS, please note that the missiles themselves are not included. This model can be used for simulations, CG videos, and media.
