3d and enviromets overlap and it is difficult to find assets

As you can see in the example, there are things in both sections, which doesn’t help when searching for assets using categories. Also there is no way to see all the props without them getting mixed up with characters and other moving things.

I think it would be more practical than within the 3D category, there should be two subcategories: “Things that go on maps” which would include environments and almost all current 3D sections, and “Things that run around maps” which would include characters, creatures, weapons, clothing, etc.

Hey there @DomusLudus!

Thank you for the valued feedback.

While we understand that the recent category changes can take some getting used to, this will make it easier to find assets relevant to what people are looking for.

For example, in the left navigation, under 3D, you can expand the Characters & Creatures subcategory to only include those categorized as such by the seller. There are even more subcategories to get to what you’re looking for. 3D covers a lot of different types of assets, so we recommend taking advantage of the subcategories.

It is worth noting that the style filter is super handy too.

Thanks!

Move “Characters” out of “3D” to a separate category where assets are forced to be in subcategories. Not like now, where “Characters” are already a subcategory of “3D” with 90% of characters uncategorized further.

Thanks for responding, although I think I didn’t explain myself well from the answer. Characters & Creatures is one of the few subcategories that makes sense.
But what if I want to make a temple in the jungle?
As you can see, everything is completely divided up without a parent category.
I think all the assets placed in the maps should have a common parent.

All these categories should have a parent.

which share 99% of their DNA.

Yes, that would be another option: removing characters from 3D and moving environments within 3D.
At least we’d have the architectural objects and props in a single category.
