Description: I have a project with an actor that has a ScreenCapture2DComponent attached. If Forward Shading is enabled and Shadows are turned off (low quality), once the actor is moved it crashes the game/editor.
Repro Steps:
- Make a new project
- Enable Forward Shading
- Select Low quality for Shadows in the Engine Scalability Settings
- Now in the level create a new actor
- Attach a ScreenCapture2DComponent to the actor
- Assign a Render Target texture to the ScreenCapture2DComponent
- Run the game in the Selected Viewport
- Select the actor in the World Outliner and move him
- Expect a crash
For me this reliably reproduces the bug all the time.
