i just came across this. Cubebrush has banned all AI content. When FAB is going to do the same? - #3 by EN6A6E
a bit extremist to outright ban, imho, but it could be a starting point for addressing this very real issue.

Not just AI. This entire user profile I have reported for copyright infringement and theft. All of their assets are stolen and reposted. Theft and AI seem to go hand in hand on Fab lately.

So this proves that whoever is processing these reports is complicit in allowing these stolen assets. There is no helping Fab at this point.
I’m not trying to railroad to a different subject. These issues go hand in hand. There are bad faith actors and thieves taking advantage of Fab and its developers goodwill.

The report process doesn’t give people the option to specify anything. I tried multiple options and the reports were dismissed

I remember reporting someone who was reselling Megascans assets one time ( read it and weep ), but I used the marketplace support email. I assume that doesn’t exist any more…

Just admit the failure that Fab is, and go back to the standards and human control the Unreal Marketplace had.
Give them some time. Now that we finally have their attention, something might get done. If they removed humans from the equation then they will need to put them back or figure something out.

The whole community is screaming, complaining and swearing on all Unreal related sites (not just here also on reddit, Discord…) for over half a year, basically since FAB launched and Epic did basically nothing in this regard. They test and fail with AI checks now, of course AI cant replace human quality checks.
But the whole power-point consultant idea is that Fab will cost no salaries does not work!
That is the whole issue, that high-paid people with no clue or regards about game-dev needs, sell their marketing crap to decision makers at Epic.
And no one at Epic has the balls to call this crap out!
PS.: Getting rude now is justified as being ignored for over half a year for basic features is not polite either.
Everything will happen if you manage to get through to the right people. We have finally gotten the thief and the AI abuser banned. Take this as a small win.
The staff have finally caught on and are going to put in new rules and fix the reporting system. It’s just a matter of time at this point. The people running Fab/Epic need to take community complaints a bit more seriously moving forward.

Agree. They are struggling catching ppl’s feedback, but they have shown they care and take action.
because the report process is too complicated. For me even when logged in with my account some of the entry field in the page “Report Content” do not even work!
And even if they take action, a banned guy can be back right away with the same scam, e.g.:
