Importing animation with link constraints issue

Hi all,

We have an animated grenade throw created in MAX 2010. It looks like this:

The links constraints are used to link and unlink objects when needed.

After exporting the model to .fbx and importing into the UE editor, the grenade disappears and instead I see a weird artifact looking like multiple cubes:

These ones seem to be related to the skeletal mesh I’m using:

I guess, there are 2 separate issues:

  1. The disappearing grenade;
  2. Cubes generated from the skeletal mesh.

Could it be the MAX exporter problem? Or another animation scheme should be used?
