Today i started a school project and will be trying to create MOCAP “motion capture” fighting animations
in Unreal engine. The goal of the project is to make one character be able to do punches and kicks created
from mocap data. The caracter are suppose to react to button inputs and be able to blend between animations.
MOCAP animations will be created at our school and edited in Maya, movements are going to be edited to feel
responsive and look good.
Im going to update this thread during my work and would love any kind of feedback and tips during the process.
Since I´m new to Unreal most of the hard work will probably be creating the controller inputs and the blending
between animations.
