here i show an image with human scale sothat you can see my artillery and tank size, in this environment my character will be an american soldier as its shown that has to enter into an german occupied city
Oh the lighting got even better! It still has that hazy-dusty look but the visibility is so much better Rad work so far!
hello everyone, this week i worked more in the set dressing, first I did the bullets and the munition boxes of the 88mm cannon, Germany’s main heavy antiaircraft—or “flak” that I modeled last week, textured them and placed them to achieve a more realistic setting. then I made an upgrade to the flack textures, finally i made in the hole environment a second layer of destroyed buildings sothat every blind spot could be covered and it also provides a better understanding of this environment as part of a bigger city. hope you like it
hi, everyone, in this week i worked in details, made the flags move, modeled a spitfire plane, made some corrections in the fire and lighting, and worked in a cinematic and its audio and sound effects . This has been an amazing process in which i learned a lot of unreal specially optimization for videogames and different techniques to achieve the correct material i neede. And even tough ww2 is a common topic, to know the details its not so common, so I learned more about ww2 arquitecture, building structures, construction materials, texture, debris, levels of destruction in the different war zones and ww2 invasions, vehicles, tanks, artillery, planes, strategy and details by being faitfull to the original sources making model replicas, set dressing also to give character to the scene by the details in lighting. Here im sharing my final keyshots, cinematic and process, hope you like them as much as i do
here is my final cinematic of my ww2 war zone environment
Hi again @MARKIMIDEZ,
Hope you’ve been well
First, congrats on releasing the final cinematic. So impressive! Secondly, it turned out great. The debris and semi-destroyed buildings are such a terribly effective demonstration of the war-torn town you’ve created. It’s the subtle details, however, that impressed me most. The shadow of the plane, the artillery weapons abandoned, the tank stuck on a pile of rocks - it all told a story. Inspiring work, friend. Hope we see more of your art around here
