2D Weapon does not destroy or detach

Hey all, i hate to bother you all with this. But i’ve recently started Unreal and everything going well until i started to try and give my character a weapon.

I’ve managed to ‘arm’ itself with one, but now i can’t destroy it again. I get a “Pending kill” error.
I might be doing something wrong in the blueprints or with the components of my weapon.
I’ve posted blueprints and sprite’s below. I’ve tried auto destroy, but i coudn’t find how to implement it correctly, because i’ve read that that should fix it.

The idea was, simple pick up and drop weapons.

So can anybody tell me what i’ve done wrong here or give my some advice or link on how to fix it? (Been busy for the whole week to try and fix it. =)
