2d view stops auto-displaying selected image

Hi Guys,

This is a super basic question but I can’t figure it out anywhere. If I use the 1+1 layout, choose 1Ds for the left planel, chose 2D for the right panel, and then begin to select images (camera poses) in the left panel - the right panel with automatically display the image that I have selected (this is good!).

However, if I drag an image from the left panel to the right panel, the right panel will stop automatically displaying images I have selected. If I now want to view a new image in the right panel I have to drag and drop it every time. This becomes a major bottleneck when trying to add alignment control points to images.

How can I get the right panel to automatically display selected images again? I seriously can’t figure out this basic functionality

Hi breravin

It is because the RIGHT 2D view for images has “COLOR” and drag & drop will cancel the “color” of the window…
Click in the 2D view, and then UP in the IMAGE context menu you can select its color.
The colors are BLUE, GREEN, MAGENTA, CORAL.

Choose BLUE or GREEN “color” in order to work again properly.

Hallelujah! Thank you, this was driving me crazy. I couldn’t find anything in the help about that (I probably wasn’t looking in the right place).

Would be good to include in an intro tutorial (again, maybe it was, but I could never find it).

Cheers!
