2d ragdoll physics in Unreal using sprites?

I have looked around the forums and on google and haven’t really found a solid answer so I imagine that it’s okay to ask this.

There may be a little bit of creativity required on my part in order to achieve something similar to the video below (near the end) since there may not be a direct way to do this on unreal yet (maybe 2d bones and physics blending in the future?) The obvious work around would be to make a 3d character that looks 2d but I’m more interested in knowing if it’s possible using paper2d tool in order to make physics more interesting in a 2d game.
