2D Artist for UIs

Hello,
we’re looking for an 2D Artist for our UIs / menu for an upcoming first person multiplayer game.
Please note the project requires a NDA, so i can’t give out too much informations right now.
The progress of the game is working out great so far, and we’re planning a greenlight submission at the end of march.
The payment will be royalty based after the release on Steam. (to be honest: won’t be that much, so it’s probably interesting for newcomers who want to extend their portfolio.)

Your requirements:

  • You’re experienced in creating widget based UIs for menus and the player interface ingame
  • You can create your own graphics (game logo included), some based off 3d models (e.g. a “player model picture” or item pictures)
  • You understand the principles of licenses and copyright (e.g. if you want to use a font or other media, are we allowed to use it commercial?)
  • You can handle provided blueprint functions and variables (e.g. Steam API, Player Variables)
  • Optional: You can use git (LFS) or you are willing to learn how to use it (required)
  • You can use discord
  • Enough time to hit our goals

Your tasks:

  • Create and script (blueprint) menus (main menu, settings menu, …) and ingame interfaces (player hud, …) based on bp widgets
  • Create graphics (game logo, player hud graphics, steam shop stuff, achievements, steam cards, …)
  • Handle the search for fonts we can (and are allowed to) use

Needed functions (e.g. Steam API, Chat in Lobby, …) and exposed variables (player health, player items, …) will be provided, you don’t have to make them yourself.
But you have to know how to use or change them to fit your created widget.
The widgets are (or will be) more or less already programmed and working (but ugly looking), you just have to make them pretty. :slight_smile:
