Hey all, I’m looking to build a machine only for Unreal development, no gaming or anything else.
I have one catch tho, I absolutely hate Nvidia, but I also don’t want to miss out on any features of the engine.
As far as I saw, the only feature that would not work on AMD would be hardware ray tracing. But the documentation is not clear, it just doesn’t mention AMD, while mentioning old GTX cards that support DXR. In 2023 the latest AMD cards do support DXR, so I don’t understand why they would not work.
Is it an error from the unreal team?
Did they forget to mention AMD?
Or is it just that they simply don’t support AMD for whatever reason?
