Hi all! So I have been working on a landscape in World Creator. We’re building an open world map in UE5, 16384x16384 pixels heightmap (so 16386m2 is our goal)
I have exported it in 1024 tiles of 2048 res heightmaps, in the right naming system for UE5 to read it.
I have set the new level as an open world with world partition, and then when creating the landscape I set it as I was told to do:
- World Partition Grid Size : 1
- World Partition Region Size : 16 (default)
- Section Size : 127x127
- Sections per Component : 2x2
- Component Size : 254x254 quads
So far, it crashes after thinking for 5 minutes when I select the first tile. Not even able to click on Import button, just select the file.
Anyone has a hint? Pretty new to this. The World Creator Bridge isn’t working either.
Thanks!
