Greetings:
We opened an issue two years ago back on 4.27 about cryptomatte not honoring material ids on geocaches imported from alembic. Our issue was tied to issue UE-125251 which supposedly had a fix commited into release, but the problem remains unaffected. We still don’t get any valid material id passes for our geocaches.
