I’d like to clarify a question regarding the use of characters available on UEFN.
If I use the UEFN Character Device or other characters/resources available on UEFN, can I take screenshots or captures in the editor of these characters and use them as visual elements on my Fortnite island?
For example, I’m considering simple game mechanics like memory games, puzzle pieces, or similar interface/gameplay elements within the island.
The intended use would be only within the Fortnite island, utilizing resources available through UEFN, and not external third-party intellectual property or copyrighted custom material.
I’d like to understand if this is generally allowed by the Fortnite Creator Rules and if there are specific restrictions for:
Using these captured images within the island as gameplay/user interface elements;
Using similar screenshots in promotional images, thumbnails, or lobby backgrounds.
