First i try to launch engine thru launcher but pressing the button does nothing. I decided to open it directly but it instantly gives out 0xc000005 error. I have already tried deleting updates and other things but didnt helped.
Pls help me.
Consider doing the following:
- Uninstall everything.
- Download MS VS 2017
- Install VS 2017 and be sure to select the C++ for Games and also IMPORTANT the UE4 Launcher. This will install all of the prereqs needed.
- Once the launcher has been installed, download the engine you want to work with.
- Run editor.
If it doesn’t work, please post some screen shots… Good luck!

I cant install MS VS 2017 for some reason. I also dont have SP1 and it totally doesnt want to get installed. Does some version of your engine not requires SP1 and MS VS 2017?
I used dependency walker and downloaded all L1-1-0 DLLs i could find. After this i used walker again and it gave out another list of DLLS with different ending. I think its endless. Please send me all your DLLs ending in LX-X-X.
I think this will fix.
Now the editor launched. I will tell you if it breaks.
