Have a UE 5.6 download issue where my download has been stuck like this for hours.
I’ve tried
restarting my PC
clearing my EpicGames and UnrealEditor cache and Local folders
temporarily disabling my Avast Free Antivirus
restarting the download
Verifying the 5.5.4 download
changing the download directory

I found it i had the same problem so i went to my folders i deleted all folders and reinstall it but DON’T PAUSE OR CLOSE EPIC GAMES WHILE ITS DOWNLOADING cause thats causing the problem just let it run until its finished

I also encountered a similar phenomenon in UE4.23, but after several start and stop cycles it went into verification.
