Hi guys, I’m using the riverbed from Kite Demo in a VR project. Instanced stereo seems to bug out with it. One of the blended textures (I think the pebbles) gets glitched out in the right eye only. I’m attaching a screenshot, compare the right eye with the left.
This was working ok in an earlier 4.11 preview (I think it started working in the release that added tesselation support or a couple previews later), but hasn’t since release in 4.11.0, 4.11.1, or 4.11.2.
Here’s a screenshot of the problem, notice the right eye has some really distorted textures. In game the distorted parts move around when you move your head and it is more glaring:
To create this I just created a blank project, added a sphere reflection capture, default skylight, and migrated the “S_RiverBed_Basin_03” asset from Kite Demo. Then I enabled ‘instanced stereo’ in the Project Settings: rendering: VR section.
Here is a Google Drive link to a minimal project which reproduces the bug. You need to play in VR to see it; I’ve only tried with SteamVR on :

Should be noted the blended textures are world position sampled; it almost looks like in the right eye it is sampled at a stretched out wrong scale for one of the textures.
