You do not provide much information so it’s hard to help. First: Which version of the engine do you use? Custom source build or precompiled?
Then, how did you setup your material? A screenshot would be nice.
Precompiled 4.7.2
Screenshot of the material:
Looks to only be one of my layer blend materials that is flickering…
I have the same problem ![]()
Still need some help with this.
I think it has something to do my Tessellation, but don’t know how to fix?
Exactly, it is tessellation. Well, I just re-did the material without having tessellation and it does not flicker. But then, I need tessellation. Cant have? ![]()
If it’s ok for your material to have a lower displacement map height, try decreasing that value.
It work for me, but unfortunately I “need” to have a certain value for it to even start to be visible, so that’s too bad ![]()
Another solution that might work is to avoid intersections through the added height, if possible.
If you limit your world displacement value to anything above 0 before plugging it into the material output node, the flicker will dissappear. You can set a “Min” node to .01 for example. See example below.
for me it’s not work, I tried also without tesselation
I set Negative and Pozitive ZBounds Extension from -100 to -1 and problem solved.
THIS WORKS GREAT! thanks!
