So I’ve already had 3 instances while testing a landscape in Rocket Beta 5 where my character simply falls through the landscape while walking or jumping. I do realize I’m running Beta 5 and not 6 so apologies if this is an issue that’s been resolved, but my download link for Beta 6 is invalid.
This issue has not been fixed yet, I reported it in beta5 and beta6 both.
It is nice to have your additional perspective on the matter though!

I’ll definitely not mark it as resolved until it is. Out of curiosity (I’ve only just started working with Rocket full time 3 days ago) do you know if they fixed the visibility tool issues from UDK? Specifically, in UDK you could use the visibility tool to paint out areas in the landscape to make caves etc. but once you build the map, the collision would be removed but the hole would no longer be visibly removed (IE it would look like the terrain was there, but you’d fall through). I’m hoping this issue has been fixed already.

Thank you for your report. I can see that the issue is still being dealt with by our terrain specialist. As for the UDK visibility tool error, it does seem that this is a legacy bug that has made it through and is being worked on. We have made huge plan to overhaul the terrain system, so be watching for updates.
