Hey kinggamer1235 -
In Cascade, Click in the Black area outside of your emitter module list and then go to the details panel and Find the Fixed Bounds settings, and increase / decrease the bounds as necessary, in your case you will want to make the rooms size the fixed bounds of the system, or approximate as the center of the system is always the center of the bounds so if your fire is on a wall you may want to increase the bounds only in the direction needed to fill you room.
Thank You
Eric Ketchum
Thanks! I spent ages looking for that
Thanks for the tip!
Am i blind or crazy? I dont see a menu popup when i right click in the black area…?
Well, its say click, not right click
In fact, I think you need to click the required module, it’s the only one that has anything to do with bounds ( that I can find ):
In fact you can right click on the black area under the emitter, which I think they were referring to.
However, the answer posted here is massively out of date.
Just a tip: You can increase the speed of a particle speed for like 5000/-5000 to all direction(x,y,z) and click in Set Fixed Bounds. This will make the bounds massive and the particle will not cut when out of screen.
Do this only for few particles you need.
Thank you a lot!!!
you just save my time.
I just came across this post and I see its still active almost 10 years later so I thought I would help out. This is a really goofy implementation in an interface but you have to left click the “Black space” that’s next to your emitter modules to see the menu that Eric Ketchum was talking about.
This did not work for me. (UE5.3)
