I have a widget that is anchored to the left side, spaced 200 from the edge. If the viewport is matched to the aspect ratio of what the camera is rendering, the widget is in the correct location. If the viewport is stretched horizontally, so it has black bars on both sides, the widget moves closer to the left edge and in extreme situations, it goes off into the black bars.
Is there a way to snap the widget to the edge of the camera render area, rather than the viewport area?
My concern is that if someone has a wide screen monitor, but chooses to run in a standard aspect ratio, UI elements will not be in the correct locations.
The screenshot shows what I mean. In this case, the transparent banner is well into the black bar on the side. The arrow points to a clear spot where the camera view ends. That line where the green nebula ends should be 200 left of the transparent vertical banner where the menu is.
