Why is EPIC not developing the very own C++ dedicated compiler for UE

is there something preventing you from telling us which processor you have, and how many cores were being used to compile, and how much ram was in use to compile?

I have i7-10700 and VS was using only 5 cores and 12gb of ram

fwiw, this is not a problem that iā€™ve ever encountered, and iā€™ve done unreal development with native source going back to 2010. likely some configuration error in your VS setup or Unreal configuration (though i canā€™t think of any unreal ini settings that would affect that, there might beā€¦ i know thereā€™s stuff affecting shader compiler and packaging process counts and memory limits)
