This thread is kind of dragging on.

I love digging into the C++ source. It’s helping to improve my programming.
I find some things easier to express in code than in a visual graph.

I have been implementing cool things without impediment, it has only required that I learn new concepts and develop my skills further.
I would probably not be developing as much experience if I was still coding in C#.
As such I think my time is best spent doing more of the same, rather than dwelling on the semantics of the engine architecture.
