Why are 3D sounds when overlapping with 2D sounds are turning down the 2D sounds?

When any 3d sound in ue5 plays over a 2d sound it lowers the 2d sound and it all only happens in my headphones.

I have a flashlight (3d sound) and an ambient background (2d sound). Whenever I turn the flashlight on having it make sound it all works fine but the ambient sounds gets turned down.

I also noticed it gets fixed when I uncheck Spatialization in my flashlight sound cue but I want the 3d Spatialization.

Again it works fine through my monitor speakers but through my headphones it does this.

Unlikely, but still… :smirk:

Does the sound on the monitor work in mono or stereo?

Do you by any chance have 5.1 sound (in the device settings (headphones), or in the sound driver, or project settings) simulation or something like that enabled anywhere?
Perhaps part of the sound channel goes to the “front speaker” which is not in headphones.
