Where is the real documentation?

So it’s too difficult for epic to document their engine, but it should be ok for the average solo dev to decipher their code as a substitute? I mean the mental gymnastic some gatekeepers are going through here is crazy…

Ya… If I’m trying to find out the schematics for a house, I wouldn’t call counting each brick the blueprint.

Coming from a Web SWE background I can say it does feel like UE is originally built with this hack first mentality as many games were built back in the day. I think they’ve realized this with the introduction to Blueprints, but IMHO they should just focus their efforts on documenting their existing C++ API instead of investing in some Node-based code system.
