Where is support when you need them?

Installed 5.5.3 on Mac, every time I attempt to launch I get Error Code: LS-0013.

I have followed a link to the knowledge base to learn more about the error and it suggests deleting the web cache folder for Epic Games launcher. I have done this and the problem still persists. I have also uninstalled 5.5.3 and installed 5.4.4 - which also does the same thing.

I have reached out to support but still haven’t had any response, it seems that this is a common theme for others with issues. I would be grateful for any help or suggestions

Check macOS Permissions: Make sure the Epic Games Launcher has full disk access and proper permissions under System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Delete Cache Files: Delete the Epic Games-related cache folders manually:

~/Library/Application Support/Epic/
~/Library/Caches/com.epicgames.EpicGamesLauncher/
~/.unrealengine/

Update macOS: Keep your macOS fully updated because certain Unreal Engine issues get resolved with OS updates.

Reinstall Epic Games Launcher: Remove the launcher entirely, including residual files in ~/Library, and install the latest version from the official website.

Check Logs: Examine the logs in ~/Library/Logs/EpicGamesLauncher/ for verbose error messages that might show what’s incorrect.

Try a New User Account: Create a new macOS user account to determine if the problem is specific to your current user configuration.

Console and Terminal: Use the Terminal app or Console to search for error messages when launching the Epic Games Launcher.
