I’m terribly sorry to say this but i dont think the search function works at its beast.Allthough people wont post there, user names are not selectable/ clicked on, and so we cant see their main threads that they have created or code/projects they have posted.

Normal and advanced search provides less data than before.The content is there,it just cant find it.
Here is a example.I use as key words tegleg/zombie/deadly zombie ai in order to find a thread created by user tegleg on zombie ai and i cant find it.Went to youtube and there was lucky for me a video with the link:

Which means the info is on the udk forums but for some stuff you have to browse countless pages in some cases( for now) as the search wont provide it.

Can anyone confirm please?

UDK forum has valuable information for our current (or eternal but vital, in my case?) projects.

Just noticed that screenshots that were posted using the forum(not external links)are not visible.They have a blue outline but when clicked on to be seen it takes you to a page with the message:
¨¨The Epic Games forums have been archived and are closed to new registrations.¨¨

So many kismet/other screenshots are now hidden.

I’ve noticed something weird. The Goggle searching doesn’t find anything related to UDK forums. I could access the posts I bookmarked before, but now Google search shows only U4 related posts. Before, I could reach many posts only searching by Google, but now; nope. Only the first link in the first pages, and everything else doesn’t have to do with UDK, only with U4.
I try other browsers and check if the same thing happens to them as well.

Same here with chrome and firefox.I normaly type in google udk forums(and the search word)and get many results.
