Yep, I agree completely! Something about how he was so old, yet so young… the show was so epic, with so many connections everywhere, season 8 just doesn’t get close to it ;_;
As you may of guessed, 11th is my favorite… I have not watched the classics as of yet, but I plan to once I find a site that has them

I think in terms of individual stories Series 8 was cool (i.e. Listen), but yeah it terms of the Series storyline it wasn’t as good.
Though, I am happy the ending didn’t revolve around The Doctor needing to kill himself…again.
I did also like Clara in Series 8.
All in all though 11th is still the best (Vincent and the Doctor forever).
