What program do you use for notes / bug lists

Hi,

I’m curious to what people use to take notes, bugs, and new features. I’m looking for a notepad on Windows, would be nice if you could quickly delete or mark them as done or fixed.

What program / method do you use?
Which are some other good options?

Thanks for your suggestions. I was indeed going for something simple and independent. I think I’ll make a decision between Notepad++ and Excel.

I made the switch from notepad++ to code writer (win 10 store (freeee)) it has a nice clean ui and loads instantly with many docs open

Notepad++ is the best

it’s decent, wouldn’t say its the best. and no annotations really hurts it for |note taking/bug list| |fixed/pending|

code writer is such a nicer app.
