Hello Greatmazingerz, In my opinion, the Lightning system is the best choice for modeling mode because the lighting system is designed to provide a simplified and consistent environment for asset creation and editing. This mode utilizes a basic lighting setup, often comprising uniform ambient lighting and a few directional lights, to ensure clear visibility of models without the complexities introduced by advanced lighting systems like Lumen. This approach allows artists to focus on modeling tasks without the influence of dynamic lighting effects, resulting in a more controlled and predictable visual environment.
In contrast, Lumen is Unreal Engine’s dynamic lighting system that provides realistic global illumination and reflections. However, its complex shadows and lighting can interfere with modeling tasks. Modeling Mode uses simplified lighting for consistent, clear visibility, making it better suited for asset creation.
I leave you a lighting tutorial that is very interesting
