What are the green dots above my model all about?

Hello,
I am also interested to know what might be the reason for those green dots. Thank you
Paulina
Hi
the green dots can be easier seen when you use the RENDER tool. They are a result of meshing (bounding box size), an unwanted mesh that can be removed with the FILTERING tool.
Hello,
Wishgranter is right. I’ll just add that a vertex that is on un-visible and isolated mesh part can be colored by green color too. Maybe we can add there a color picker so that you will be able to define the default color. Would it be useful?
Thanks for your response about these unwanted green points.
Is it possible to filtering them (and other unwanted green points) by a lasso tool ? Like in photoscan.
For filtering tool, i have only found the selection by cube (recontruction region box). I hope this is not the only selection tool, because it’s not easy to manipulate. Is there an other selection method for filtering unwanted points (not for tie-points bur for dense point cloud)?
Thanks in advance for help !
Regards.

The filtering tool is the only option so far. You can ask for the other way to filter unwanted parts here: Point cloud Editing
