I started modelling kariouk’s project called Westboro Home in 3dsmax and unwrapped to the UE4.
I am very new on game engines. Is there any problem please tell me where is it to development myself. My first question. Should I work exterior and interior same project? Exterior has a lots of foliage and interior has many items. It’s a good idea?
At first glance I thought the first images were ue4 render and I was like… **** that’s good…lol
I would slow down your camera, it looks a bit choppy. It should be buttery smooth and maybe shorten the chair close-up shot, it’s taking half the length hehe.
thanks for your critique. hah first image shown reference. I wish I’ll make it like that. This video is demo camera position and test color grading. When its ready, I make a new render
Already looks pretty good!
I personally would add some high res textures to your vegetation meshes -> atm they look very blurry (could be caused by the mip maps) + do you use the foliage shading mode in your material? + on the 2nd last picture you can see a normal error (flip them in your 3d program)
I personally would just work on one of them, because then you can place more meshes (and high poly ones) without a huge performance loss -> but it always depends on what you want to create
thanks for your great advice. I watched lots of video tutorial, read article and practice how to do and how to work engine then I tired otherwise I started to modelling tree in Speedtree but I found on another website readytouse foliage pack and I used it. Now I see free foilage kit in your signiture. It’s more detail than used one. I’ll watching your tutorial too. Thanks your reply.
