Originating from traditional Hindu and Buddhist practices, the original Dwarapala statues were designed to guard the gates of temples and other sacred spaces. They can be found in many countries, including India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan. Later, the Balinese people adopted these guardian statues to protect their temples and homes, adapting them to the specific Balinese culture and renaming them Bedogol. These statues are always placed in pairs, symmetrically on either side of a gate, often elevated on pedestals to give them height. The protective figures symbolize the balance between good and evil, neutralizing potentially disruptive forces from the outside world. This ensures that only positive energies can enter sacred spaces. Bedogol statues hold a significant place in Balinese philosophy.

DETAIL
Retopo mesh (from high poly): 4K texture, material M_4k, partial Quad mesh with 8k poly
LOD0 mesh (highest detail): 4K texture, material M_4k, 1 Million triangles
LOD1 mesh (medium detail): 2K texture, material M_2k, 250k triangles
LOD2 mesh (low detail, far away): 1K texture, material M_1k, 64k triangles
LOD3 mesh (very far distance): 512 texture, material M_512, 16k triangles
Blender file is already set up with 4 LODs and 4 corresponding materials, but the various LODs can easily share the same material if needed. Textures included in 4K, 2K, 1K, 512 resolution easily downscalable to other definitions for LODs

Normal
Important: Normal map needed to be set up in linear "Rec.709" or "Non color" color space to works properly
Roughness should be set up in sRGB color space
All LODs share the same UV map from retopo mesh
