Virtual Texture Help-Difference in Shade between VT and Landscape

I’m working with RVT and am seeing when I place an asset in this case a rock on the landscape, it picks up the Virtual Texture, but the VT is substantially lighter than the landscape.
Should’nt the product of the VT on the Static Mesh asset look the same as the landscape?
When I run a simulated play of the scene it looks lighter there too. I’ve looked for answers online, did not find the answer and I would appreciate any suggestions you have to darken the VT up so it matches the Landscape. Thanks!

Note, this labeled as a Mossy Forest Rock vimrfgwaw. There is a substantial difference in shading where the VT on the ground adjoins the landscape material.

No clues anyone? :flushed:
Question- if I alter a landscape material to make it look darker, although I’m embarrassed that I can’t remember what I did exactly, should any changes to the appearance of the landscape material, be carried through in the Virtual Texture, or no?
