Why does the lighting change when I resize the Viewport? When the viewport is small, the plane in my scene with a water simulation has lots of detail and I can see the waves. When make the Viewport window larger, all of a sudden the light that’s hitting the water completely overexposes it, leaving no detail to be seen. But then, when I render the scene, the detail is back. The Viewport is only giving me an accurate representation of the lighting when it’s very small. See the video below.
