Add a print string and draw the linetrace:

Thanks, your last post showed me where the error was. The trace was not touching the StaticMesh in the In zone. I couldn’t have figured it out on my own, not knowing how it works. Here I am now with what I was looking for at the start, a progressive account depending on the distance and the rapprochement of the central actor.
