Valley of the Ancient project, Get The Sample button crash the launcher

Hi all,

When I click Get The Sample button for Valley of the Ancient project download, the launcher crashes with error message:

Assertion failed: !CachedTargetEngineString.IsEmpty() [File:D:/Build/++Portal/Sync/Portal/Source/Programs/EpicGamesLauncher/Layers/Presentation/Private/CreateProjectDialogViewModel.cpp] [Line: 260]

I’ve 4.23.1 (from source) and 4.26.2 (from launcher) installed and I’m building UE5 from Github source now.

I had the same issue. Solved it by clicking on “Download Early Access” in the launcher, then pausing it (as I was already busy building the source). It will queue the Quixel Bridge plug-in, then you can add the Sample Project.
