You can record any property that sequencer can animate. For example, if you create a property, you need to mark it as “Expose to Cinematics”. Then with sequence recorder, you need to specify that property should be recorded. The screenshot you have is correct, but you need to check the box to the far right of the property in the “Choose Property to be Recorded” window.
