yeah. the index will never go outside bounds. its for a radix sorting algorithm which ill send in a few minutes actually. its pretty useful to have on hand; i use it to sort actors by location, arrays of floats, whatever i want. its custom too so i can efficiently sort multiple arrays at the same time
Interested to hear⦠![]()
i had to contort the nodes around a bit to get it to all fit in the picture, but here it is. dont ask me how the logic works lmao. Its some weird voodoo wizardy i figured out from this video here. Why is Radix Sort so Fast? Part 2 Radix Sort - YouTube
Is it quicker to do with strings, rather than power?
Yes, donāt get that at all⦠![]()
not sure. i havent actually tested it. i was just making a new radix sort for this specific set of inputs (3 arrays rather than for actors).
i wont actually be able to test for a while as iv got to get a bunch of other stuff i need to setup first. im taking this function from an old testing project made in unreal engine 4.26 and putting it to use in a proper project so half my blueprints are unfinished lol
