Any update for 5.0.3?
The team can’t repro this issue, but said it may be due to a corrupt local cache. Could you try wiping your local cache or running with --no-cache
to validate?
Hey @OmiKarve - Non-Epic forks are a little trickier for our team to diagnose. It does look like the XML file you have doesn’t match one listed on our service. Could you double check you replaced your XML file with the corresponding version’s?
They also noted to make sure you check your order of operations (close UE, sync, and then replace the XML before launching).
Thanks a lot, it worked!
Currently on 4.27.1 from Oculus. Copied the xml file but still getting:
"Failed to download 'http://cdn.unrealengine.com/dependencies/UnrealEngine-16488106/01653775fed134a4c287bea4c0d810b1b9be91ee': The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. (WebException)"
@Amanda.Schade This worked for me now. (Ubuntu 20.04, UE4.26 Carla 0.9.14 build from source process) I copied this file https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/blob/4.26/Engine/Build/Commit.gitdeps.xml
to:
~/UnrealEngine_4.26/Engine/Build
Upon running ./Setup.sh, I was able to pull the dependencies.
replacing the xml works
I went to find the xml, it said that pages not found
i tried to run Setup.sh for unrealengine 4.18, but always i see this error, iwant to know why this error shown and how to solve it

Hi @Amanda.Schade .
Could you please provide some feedback on the missing UnrealHeaderTool.target file? I have been unable to build the engine source for almost 3 weeks now.
The only mention of it I can find on the forums is in relation to an issue that was supposedly fixed in the 5.0.1 hotfix.
Only development mode package (Server) working on Linux.Shipping not working.
None of them work on Mac. Please fix

Today i was trying to install the unreal engine 4.25.0 release from the github, but when i opened the “setup.bat” but it seems there was an error with the server idk. Please i need some help with this. i really need this version.
Hey Nows, you’re going to need to grab the proper file and put it in your repo. The file is located at : https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/releases/download/4.25.0-release/Commit.gitdeps.xml
Replace your local file at /Engine/Build/Commit.gitdeps.xml with it.
Hello @Amanda.Schade
Will we ever be able to download specific commits of Unreal Engine? Or will only official releases be supported from this point on?
whether xml 4.26.0 is supported now?

seconding this.
I needed to go back through the history for some debugging, but I can’t get a working build anymore.
Sorry to hear that. I’m in the same situation. But I guess I’ll never be able to
